FAQs

When should I order my wedding cake?

For peak wedding season dates (May - September) I recommend booking a minimum of 12 months before as peak dates fill up quickly. Out of peak season 3-4 months before the wedding is fine and it’s always worth checking, no matter the season, if I have availability as you never know - I might be able to accommodate last minute orders.

How much will my wedding cake cost?

There are so many different elements that go into the cost of a bespoke wedding cake such as the size, number of portions needed, the intricacy of the design, the mediums used etc. plus the cost of delivery and set up. I do have my starting prices here but please get in touch with me and I'll be able to provide an estimated quote, with the exact cost calculated after your consultation.

I really like this design - can you make it for me?

It can be hugely helpful to provide me with some inspiration about what you like (or don’t like) but I don’t copy design exactly, even my own! I like each cake to be unique and personal in some way. The best option is to work with me to create a truly stunning cake incorporating some of those elements you love.
Who wouldn’t want to have a custom piece of art on their wedding day?

Do you deliver?

Yes! I will personally deliver and set up your wedding cake at your wedding reception on the day of your wedding. When I put together your invoice, it will include your delivery and set up fee which is charged at £1 per mile plus my hourly rate.

Can I collect my wedding cake?

No, unfortunately I don’t allow my wedding cakes to be collected as there’s too many logistics involved in the delivery and set up process to make this viable. It’s a stressful part of the process so leave this to the expert.

Do you make Vegan cakes?

Yes, we do have some vegan options and are happy to discuss this with you. We do not cater for allergies though so this wouldn’t be an ‘allergy free’ cake but rather, made without certain ingredients.

Do you cater for allergies or intolerances?

I do not cater for allergies. All my cakes are baked in a kitchen where gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, soya, sesame are present on a daily basis. However, I can make cakes that are made without certain ingredients (i.e. using gluten free flour) but cannot 100% guarantee there is no cross contamination.

Can I try before I book?

I only offer cake tasting boxes to my booked couples. Why? Because it is a hugely time consuming part of being a wedding cake designer and it isn’t efficient to make one small slice of each flavour multiple times throughout the month. I’d be forever making samples and never get to make beautiful wedding cakes. Instead, I offer set dates from February - April at the start of each year where you can purchase a taster box. These start at £45 plus postage.

Sample boxes aren’t for choosing your cake maker, but instead for choosing the flavour(s) you would like in your wedding cake from my flavour list. It’s a wonderful experience and part of the excitement before the big day.

Do you have a minimum spend?

£750 + delivery for 2026/27 wedding cakes during peak wedding season (May - October).

If you are looking for a two tier cake, we can make up the minimum spend cost with extras such as a brownie stack, macarons, personalised wedding favour biscuits.
