1-1 Cake Decorating & Design Masterclass
This year we are offering private classes for individuals wanting to improve their cake skills. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to learn a few tips to refine your skills, we will tailor the cake masterclass to your requirements.
We will cover the following basic cake skills for achieving smooth sharp buttercream beauties on a one tier cake:
Learn how to make both American and Swiss Meringue Buttercream and create the perfect consistency for filling and covering cakes
Trimming and levelling your cake to create a flat stable foundation
Filling, Crumb coating and Covering in either a Semi-Naked finished and a Fully Covered smooth finish.
Application of Pressed or Fresh Flowers and how to put together an eye catching arrangement
Please note, your sponges will be pre-made for you before the class ready to go.
You will leave with a beautifully decorated cake boxed up to eat at home or give to a friend, the One Part Love cake decorating method and all Jess’ knowledge.
You will have the opportunity to ask any and all questions and the classes can be tailored to your specific needs and interests if applicable to the course - just drop me an email if you have any questions.

We have added a discounted option below for two people so you can both learn together at the same time.
Booking Details:
You will receive an email after your purchase to arrange your cake master class for a date in 2024 or 2025. We have limited Saturdays, but most Mondays/Tuesdays available to book.
Please note that you will have to work with us to find a date thats is mutually convenient for both of us when we have space in our diary.
Cake classes will run 10am - 3/3.30pm with a 45min lunch break (please bring a packed lunch).
If there are Covid restrictions which prevent the class from going ahead at the time, you will receive a full refund.

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds Policy
1 PAYMENTS
1.1 Full payment must be received in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Your place can not be guaranteed until the full payment has been made.
1.3 If you wish to cancel within 3 weeks of the course start date you will not be entitled to a refund. However, at our discretion and subject to availability, you may be able to use the course fee as a credit towards a future course.
2 CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
2.1 You may cancel your place on a course up to 8 weeks before the course start date. Under these circumstances you will be entitled to a full refund of course fees.
2.2 If you wish to cancel within 3-8 weeks of the course start date you will be entitled to a 50% refund.
2.3 If you wish to cancel within 3 weeks of the course start date you will not be entitled to a refund. However, at our discretion and subject to availability, you may be able to use the course fee as a credit towards a future date.
2.4 Cancellations must be made in writing to info@onepartlove.co.uk
Please note that refunds can take up to three weeks to process.
3 CANCELLATIONS BY US
3.1 If we cancel a course we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice. You will have the option of transferring to another date or having a full refund of the fees, which we will return to you within three weeks.
3.2 We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising because of any modification or cancellation of courses or timetabling constraints as set out above, beyond the cost of the course fee.
4 NON-ATTENDANCE
4.1 If you are unable to attend a class or classes due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund, extra tuition or to automatically transfer to another date. However, we will consider such action that we believe to be fair and reasonable.
4.2 Please note that if alternative options are offered, there may be an additional charge.
5 ATTENDANCE
5.1 If you are unable to complete a class due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund. We may however, at our own discretion consider a date transfer.
