Chocolate Cake Recipe
A rich, moist layer cake that packs a hell of a chocolate punch - it’s the perfect chocolate cake and the one I make time and time again. This cake is good for any occasion, simple enough for when the family pops by at the weekend and impressive enough that it gets people talking at a wedding. It tastes rich and dark, dense and moist like all the best chocolate cakes should. This is pretty much an all one method, no stand mixer needed, so less washing up needed!
This recipe requires x4 6inch tins, but can be scaled up or down for other cake tin sizes.
