Guinness Cake Recipe

Sale Price: £7.00 Original Price: £10.00

This incredibly moist, chocolate Guinness sponge is one of my most request flavours when my wedding couples order their cake tasting boxes.

This cake couldn’t be easier to make — you toss it all together on the stove top. The results are always delicious, moist but not overly dense, with that complex undertone of malty flavour. Some say the bitterness of the Guinness helps offset the sweetness of the cake, so it’s ideal for those who aren’t looking for a super sweet cake.

I usually pair with white chocolate Swiss Meringue buttercream and my recipe is available to purchase here.

This recipe requires x4 6inch tins, but can be scaled up or down for other cake tin sizes (scaling chart included).

*Please note you will not receive a physical cake, you will receive a digital pdf download. When you purchase the item you will be emailed the PDF download within 12 hours of purchase.
